Downtown Farmers Market
August 11, 2018 @ 8:00 am - 2:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 8:00am on Saturday, repeating until October 20, 2018
The Downtown Farmers Market is proud to enter its 27th year as Salt Lake City’s most beloved summer tradition for residents and visitors.
The Downtown Farmers Market exists to strengthen and support small local farms and businesses as they bring their products directly to the public. Our farmers and producers offer the freshest local fruits and vegetables as well as a wide variety of grass-fed meats, eggs, dairy, honey, and flora, along with the region’s best locally made sauces, spreads, baked goods and culinary accoutrements.

Arts and crafts:
Established in 2003, the Downtown Art & Craft Market runs adjacent to the Farmers Market in Pioneer Park and celebrates our communities’ desire for unique, handmade, local gifts and art.
The Art & Craft market provides an illuminating window into our region and the creativity born of the Intermountain West. From jewelry to organic body products to fine art and photography, market patrons will find a wide array of beautiful items to give, or to keep!
Hi, I’m Stuart, nice to meet you! I’m the founder, writer and wrangler at Gastronomic SLC and The Utah Review; I’m also a former restaurant critic of more than five years, working for the Salt Lake Tribune. I’ve worked extensively with other local publications from Utah Stories through to Salt Lake Magazine and Visit Salt Lake.
I’m a multiple-award winning journalist and have covered the Utah dining scene for more than a decade. I’m largely fueled by Uinta Cutthroat, alliteration and the use of too many big words I don’t understand. I ate all the pies.
