I'm told this business bought the recipes from a defunct wing joint. If they did, they made a good buy.

Wing coop has two locations, I've only been to the one on the east bench. http://www.wingcoop.com/

Not much seating area so pick your time carefully as it can be crowded.

Pick your meat, usually a tender or a wing, how many you want, the sauce and the dip.

I like wings as I think they taste better than a tender. Meat on the bone has more flavor and succulence. Sauces, well the Honey Habanero is their best seller and it's a good sauce. Not real hot but with some kick and some sweetness to balance the heat. I've tried their eleven sauce (as in Spinal Tap, "Ours goes to eleven") It's brutally hot. Took me 20 minutes to eat one wing and that was all I could take. Wiped out most of my friends too. I lean towards the spicy garlic and the garlic parmesan but I'm a garlic fiend.

Dips are a little thin, but work well with the wing. I'm a purist and must have blue cheese over ranch. They have a "fry sauce" too they call coop dip. They move a lot of beer in their too, including some microbrews.

I like the wings. Probably my favorite wing in town. Comes with a little celery. I've not pursued the sides at all so I have no opinion there.

Wing Coop's cleanliness has taken a dive over the years. At first it was very clean. And while it's still pretty good, the floor has a layer of slick aerosolized frying grease most times now. The cleaning crew isn't really trying on the floor lately. Walk carefully.

Worth a visit if you like good wings.

Amen brother!

I've only eaten here once, but thought the wings were as good as anywhere else in the city. Not quite up to the wings I used to eat in Rochester, NY, but they were very good. It's surprisingly difficult to find consistently good wings west of the Mississippi, so I was glad to have found this place.
