Faustina’s executive chef, Billy Sotelo has been busy working his magic for the upcoming holiday feasts. On Christmas Eve, Faustina will be open for lunch, then open for dinner from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. with Chef Sotelo’s winter dinner menu plus his “Christmas Lobster” special: lobster linguini with asparagus, finished with a Cognac cream sauce and served with Bourbon and honey gelato.

Then, on New Year’s Eve, decadent four-course menu of Sotelo’s favorites will be served from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. The cost is $50 per person not including suggested wine pairings, tax or gratuity. Faustina will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

On the big weekend between the holidays, Faustina will feature special offerings from the New Year’s Eve menu, for a “taste” of the upcoming celebration, including the tuna tartare, arugula beet salad, tenderloin entree and chocolate lava cake. New this year is the weekend brunch, Saturday, December 29 and Sunday December 30, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., a favorite for locals.

Oasis Cafe specials

Oasis Cafe will greet revelers this New Year’s Eve with a special four-course prix fixe menu from 5 p.m. Mirroring Executive Chef Billy Sotelo’s creative daily menu filled with local organic vegetables, sustainable ranched meats and the freshest seafood, the New Year’s Eve menu has something for everyone. Cost is $37 not including suggested wine pairings, tax or gratuity.

New Year’s Day brunch at Oasis Cafe is also a favorite with locals. It’s loaded with traditional breakfast dishes, soups, salads and sandwiches. Brunch is ala carte and will be served from 8c a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with lighter fare served from 2:30 to 5 p.m. and dinner from 5 to 9 p.m..

Oasis Cafe will closed at 3 p.m. Christmas Eve and be closed all Christmas Day to allow their employees to enjoy the holidays with their families. Reservations are highly suggested and can be made by calling (801) 322-0404.
