To usher in this season of goodwill the folks at Temple Square have kindly offered us a $50 gift certificate to give away. The giveaway also coincides with the the Temple Square Christmas lights and free Christmas performances, all now in full swing.

If you are at all familiar with Salt Lake City, you probably already know about Temple Square and their yearly Christmas light display. Thousands of people descend on Temple Square during the holidays to enjoy, not only the light display, but an array of free choral performances too.

Throughout the holiday season there will be Christmas performances by high school, college, and community choral groups. Each free performance is 40 minutes in length. See here for full details of Temple Square Performances

One lucky winner will receive a $50 gift certificate, good at the Temple Square restaurant of his or her choice (The Roof Restaurant, The Garden Restaurant, Nauvoo Cafe, Lion House Pantry). For a chance to win the $50 gift card, all you have to do is complete the following sentence. “All I want for Christmas is……”. Leave your entry as a post on this article and we will select a winner randomly in one week’s time.

All I want for Christmas is a chance to spend time with my loved ones and not have to be buried in coursework and teaching. . . and more books and perfume wouldn’t hurt either.

All I want for Christmas is an eternal family! My Christmas wish is coming true! My parents are attending church for the first time in my life! I would love to take them to dinner and to see the lights at temple square.

  • All I want for Christmas…is to share a happy, healthy Christmas holiday with all of my family. My beautiful daughter has recently been given the news of a ‘complicated’ pregnancy. Although we take time from our busy day to help her, she finds it difficult to take care of her 2 yr old little boy, her day care children, and her home. Also, my mother fell and broke her hip this past week, and will be recovering from hip replacement surgery during this Christmas holiday. I believe dinner and seeing the lights at Temple Square would warm their hearts and give our family a relaxing time together. and .

  • Cheryl Ramirez says:

All I want for Christmas is clear blue skies, sunshine and a ride on the quad up in the hills.

  • Cheryl Ramirez says:

I wish for enough time to live and do all the things I dreamt of.
