I think the Entremeses was as follows:

Top left - Chorizo
Top right - Lomo (a cured tenderloin)
Botton hald - Serrano Ham (it is the slices with marbling)

Manchego Cheese and grapes in middle.

Love Chorizo too!

Good to know Wendi! My wife is slowly building up her list of places to revisit for drinking purposes once she has the baby - and I think a nice big pitcher of sangria from here will be high up on the list!

Hi Danny,

I have had escargot, and the gulas are much much softer and less chewy.

I've never tasted escargot Danny, I should probably try to rectify that huh? It's nothing I have ever avoided specifically, just never ordered for one reason or another.

Your NYC experience sounds pretty cool, if not possibly expensive ;)

I need to get back to Cafe Madrid, thanks for the thorough review. Would I be wrong to think the baby eels dish is similar in taste/texture to escargot? I'm fascinated by this. We went out with friends one night to a tapas place in NYC and somebody in the group jokingly said we should order the whole menu - we took him up on it. It was one of the most memorable food experiences in my life.
