The newly opened So Cupcake on 3939 South and highland Dr. seems to be a big hit so far. I really like their website, might have to try a cake or three soon.
I had the pleasure of trying a carrot cake, red velvet with cream cheese, and lemon cupcake (in the cutest little two-bite sizes!) today. They were all very nice. My favorite was the carrot cake, but the frosting on all three was to die for.
I got married over the summer in Big Cottonwood Canyon over the summer and I had So Cupcake make mini cupcakes and a jumbo cupcake in lieu of a wedding cake. I can honestly say that they are the best cupcakes in Salt Lake City, as I tested 6 other bakeries before happening on the So Cupcake website. Natalie who owns the shop with her husband did the most amazing job. They looked great and tasted even better. We had 6 different flavors, my favorite is the carrot cake and my husband loved the pistachio. You should go try some for yourself!

I also gave the place a quick try a few weeks back. If I remember correctly I had a coffee flavoured one. Very good, would definitely go back there.
